Preamble

Global-e is the e-commerce partner of the brand or retailer ("Brand") that operates this online webstore ("Webstore"). We act as the merchant of record for the Brand’s international transactions, selling in our name and on behalf of the Brand those products or services made available on the Webstore (“Products”).

By placing an order for Products with us ("Order") you unconditionally agree to us acting as the merchant of record on these Terms of Sale, and to our Privacy and Cookies Policy (collectively, the "Terms").

If you disagree with these Terms, please do not complete your Order.

These Terms are written in, and governed by, the English language. Any translations are provided for convenience only, unless otherwise required by applicable law.

If you are a ‘consumer’ (as defined by applicable law) residing in Australia, Brazil, Canada, Japan, European Economic Area (EEA) countries, the United Kingdom or the United States, please refer to Annex I below for additional specific terms which may apply to your Order.

The Global-e contracting party under these Terms (also referred to hereunder as “Global-e” “we” or “us”) is the legal entity listed on your receipt. Please refer to the ‘Contact Us’ page linked through the checkout for more information. Information about us and our group’s companies is also available in this link: here:Global-e Entities.

1.PLACING YOUR ORDER AND ORDER CONFIRMATION

To place an Order, you must fill in all required information and click the "Pay and Place Order" button (or the button that displays similar verbiage) on checkout. You agree to always provide valid, current and true information about yourself. Please review your details and the Order details carefully, our checkout process allows you to identify and correct any input errors before submission of the Order.

You confirm that you are purchasing the Products for your personal use and not to resell, distribute or any other commercial purpose. You also confirm that you are of legal age and mental capacity to enter into an agreement where you live.

The checkout displays the Products, their prices, delivery/shipping costs (if any), and applicable import duties, taxes and charges which may be imposed in relation to the clearance of the Order into the delivery destination (collectively, “Duties & Taxes”). Duties & Taxes amounts may not always be available for pre-payment, so please check Section 3 below for more information.

We offer you the option to purchase the Product in your local or chosen currency. Please note that due to exchange rate fluctuation, prices may change from time to time, however the total Order amount as presented on checkout when completing your Order will not be affected by such exchange rate fluctuation. The Webstore displays Product images and characteristics. Minor visual differences may occur between displayed images and the received Products (e.g., in color, texture etc.). Dimensions may vary slightly.

The checkout page will present the relevant payment options which are available to you, based on your location. Global-e, acting as the merchant of record, will use one of its third-party payment processors (including, as needed, their tools, technology or services) to process the payment. Depending on your location, payment may be made to one of our intra-group affiliates (listed here) and will be deemed payment to us.

The information contained in these Terms, and the data presented on the Webstore and checkout, serves only as an “invitation to offer”, and no commitment to sell or provide the Products is made until you receive an email explicitly stating that the Order has been accepted and confirmed ("Order Confirmation").

Orders may be subject to fraud checks and other mandated regulatory checks, such as 'denied parties screening', or any other case of suspicion that the identity, address, email, or payment information provided were used fraudulently or in an unauthorized manner. In some cases, we may require you to provide additional verifications and information as a pre-condition to Order Confirmation/fulfilment.

Your Order may be declined or cancelled, in whole or in part, before or after Order Confirmation, at our sole discretion, for reasons such as (but are not limited to): failed fraud or regulatory checks; suspected bad faith/ abnormal orders; non-consumer orders; unverifiable payment details, or Product unavailability. Certain Products may be subject to quantity limit per-order, address, or other criteria, and may be declined accordingly. If fulfilment cannot be completed, you will be notified and refunded promptly.

An Order may also be declined or cancelled in case of actual or suspected error, whether by us, you, or any third party This may occur where there is a clear or obvious mistake affecting key transaction terms(such as price, description, availability, or quantity) making it unreasonable or unlawful to proceed with the Order for example, as unusual low price of an item that is typically priced significantly higher, absent of a legitimate sale or promotion. This also extends if the error was exploited to purchase unusual quantity of items. In such cases, we are not obligated to process or fulfil the Order.

Whenever an Order is cancelled or declined, you will be refunded pursuant to these Terms, provided your payment was processed successfully. We are not obligated to provide specific reasons unless required by law.

2. PAYMENTS

If you used a payment method that supports pre-authorization (e.g. most credit cards), the payment amount will first be authorised and will be captured (charged) at the latest on Product dispatch. Other methods (such as PayPal or other e-wallets) are likely to be charged immediately upon Order Confirmation. In any case, the full amount of your Order will be charged even if the shipment is split, or for pre-orders.  The Order will appear on your transaction statement as a transaction placed with "Global-e//Brand name" (or substantially similar language). We prioritize transparent communication and fair treatment in all payment-related matters. Some payment methods may offer or support different timing than as described above, and that will not be in our control.

Your bank, card issuer, or chosen payment method may impose additional charges, fees, or surcharges (such as foreign transaction/ cross border fees or such other fees), determined by your relationship with such financial institution and their policies. Global-e will not liable for, and may not have knowledge or control over, such charges. Please check your terms of service with such financial institutions for more details.

Global-e takes your payment security seriously and is committed to safeguarding your payment details by implementing strong security measures. Whilst we strive to maintain the highest levels of protection, please be aware that neither Global-e nor the Brand can be held liable for loss you may suffer as a consequence of a third party accessing your payment or account credentials.

Special terms pertaining to specific payment methods:

  • Payment by invoice with Klarna: In cooperation with Klarna and in certain jurisdictions only, you may be offered the opportunity to purchase the Product using Klarna as a payment method. The terms and conditions which will apply to payment by Invoice with Klarna can be found here. Eligibility for use of the Klarna invoicing payment method will be determined by Klarna in their sole discretion and Global-e accept no liability in respect of your use of Klarna as a payment method. Where you choose to purchase your Product using payment by invoice with Klarna, you will be sharing your personal data with Klarna and the terms of privacy policy shall apply to their use of your personal information. Global-e shall have no responsibility for their use of your personal data.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD): may be available in some destinations. Amounts payable through COD may be limited due to requirements of applicable laws, carriers or Brand policies. The Products will only be handed to you subject to and after you have signed the delivery note and paid the full Order amount.

3. DUTIES AND TAXES

You may have the option to pre‑pay Duties & Taxes during checkout. If included in the Product price, this will be clearly indicated. Not all Products/destinations support pre‑payment.

When pre‑payment is available, amounts are calculated per Order and, if paid, are remitted to authorities on your behalf. They cannot be split or combined across multiple Orders. Separate purchases to the same destination may incur additional taxes/duties upon arrival, at your responsibility.

If not pre‑paid, you are responsible for paying all applicable amounts directly to authorities. Estimates shown at checkout may differ from the actual charges. Failure to pay or refusing delivery without proper cancellation may incur additional charges (e.g., return costs, loss of original delivery costs, other direct/indirect costs). We have no liability for such charges and may deduct them from any future refunds/claims if liability falls on us.

Except as required by law and unless explicitly stated in Annex I, Duties & Taxes paid by you are not refundable by us, unless included in the Product price. You may be eligible (and solely responsible) to file a drawback claim with authorities.

4. TITLE; RISK; IMPORTER OF RECORD

The contract comes into effect only upon Order Confirmation and is concluded in the dispatch country. Title transfers from Global‑e to you before import, and risk transfers to you upon delivery to your specified address. If Duties & Taxes were not pre‑paid, the transfer point is the port of entry.

You are the importer of record. We (or our agent) only facilitate the import as your agent. In some cases, we may act as the declarant to facilitate clearance (without changing your status).

Before ordering, check destination standards/compatibility. Products ordered for destinations with different standards cannot be returned for this reason. You must ensure the Product can be lawfully imported and comply with all applicable laws and rules.

The Product and its documentation (e.g., manuals, labels, safety warnings) may not be in your language. Manufacturer services/parts may be unavailable. Powered products may not match local standards. Ensure suitability and safe access to your delivery address.

Global‑e may use customs brokers/fiscal reps for clearance. By agreeing to these Terms, you authorize us/our partners to act on your behalf to: (a) transact with authorities, (b) complete/submit/execute import documents, (c) facilitate payment of Duties & Taxes and clearance, and (d) return Products if applicable (subject to these Terms).

For clarity, purchases under a tax exemption (e.g., submitting a VAT number) are still classified as personal import. You confirm Products are for your own use and not for resale.

5. FULFILMENT, HANDLING AND DELIVERY

Delivery/fulfilment is handled by service providers selected and managed by us or the Brand. Some Products may not be deliverable to certain locations. Such constraints will be indicated on the Webstore/checkout. We may suspend/cancel delivery of any Product that cannot be legally delivered, even after Order Confirmation.

Delivery dates provided during checkout (or on the Webstore) are typically estimates. Orders will be delivered by the latest date specified, or if none is specified, within 30 days of Order Confirmation (except in exceptional circumstances). Capability/timing depends on your address and chosen method. Split deliveries may occur.

If you receive an attempted delivery notification, contact the fulfilment provider to arrange re‑delivery. Efforts will be made to deliver per your Order details.

Delivery is considered complete when the Product reaches your specified address. If Duties & Taxes were not paid at checkout, delivery is complete upon arrival at the port of entry.

6. SPECIAL PROVISIONS (DIGITAL GOODS; PERSONALIZED PRODUCTS

Digital Goods

Applies to any Digital Goods Product (software, e‑books, digital files, 3D models, audio/video files, online courses, other digital content). In case of conflict, this Section governs Digital Goods purchases.

Digital Goods are protected by IP/copyright/trademark laws. The Digital Goods sale contract takes effect upon Order Confirmation and is concluded in your country of residence. Consumers receive a license per the Brand’s licensing terms (incorporated by reference). Delivery, access, use terms, and support (if applicable) are conducted by the Brand. Unless otherwise specified, the license is limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, non‑sublicensable, confers no ownership, and is for personal use only.

Subject to consumer rights, Digital Goods are provided “as is” without warranties (including meeting requirements, error‑free, or uninterrupted). All sales are final unless otherwise required by law/Brand policy. If a cooling‑off period applies, the right to withdraw is forfeited once downloaded/accessed.

Personalized Products

Applies to Personalized/custom‑made Products. These are made specifically for you based on details you provide—please ensure accuracy. Personalized Products are non‑returnable and non‑refundable unless faulty/damaged on receipt. After Order Confirmation, you cannot change or cancel the Order. We may refuse personalized orders at our discretion. In cases of inappropriate use, your order will be cancelled and fully refunded or sent without personalization.

7. SPECIAL SALES AND OFFERINGS

The Brand may offer limited time/quantity Campaigns (competitions, raffles, product drops, etc.) via the Webstore, apps, or third‑party platforms. Campaign purchases may have specific terms (“Campaign Rules”) in addition to these Terms (made available on the relevant platform).

By participating, you agree to these Terms and the Campaign Rules (including returns/refunds/cancellations). Where there is a conflict, the Campaign Rules prevail.

If announced a winner, Global‑e will automatically process your Order using the payment/billing/shipping details you provided during registration. You confirm their accuracy.

8. RETURNS POLICY

This policy does not apply to faulty Products or other excluded items (see Section 9 or the Brand policy). Check the Brand’s policy for any additional limits.

Return window: within 30 days of the Order date (unless otherwise stated in the Brand’s policy or required by applicable law).

  • Use the returns portal or Brand’s customer support to notify intent to return. The portal link is available on the Webstore or in transactional emails (Online Support link).

  • Follow instructions and provide required info (proof of purchase, Order ID, email used), indicate items/quantities, and select the applicable return method. You’ll receive an RMA and, if available, a return shipping label. Send items promptly and in any event within 14 days of cancellation notice.

  • Unless otherwise stated in the Brand’s policy, items must be new, unused, with all original packaging, labels, accessories and documents intact. Returns are subject to quality control. Refunds may be refused or devaluation deducted if standards are not met.

  • When a refund is approved, you’ll be reimbursed for the returned Products’ price. Original delivery costs are not reimbursed unless required by law or stated in the Brand’s policy. Return shipping is generally not reimbursed unless explicitly stated. Duties & Taxes are typically non‑refundable (see Section 3).

  • You are solely responsible for any loss/damage to returned items until received at the returns facility; consider tracked courier and insurance.

  • Refunds are made via the original payment method; for COD, refunds may be processed via bank or PayPal.

Separate legal cancellation rights for EEA consumers and withdrawal rights for UK consumers are not generally affected (see Annex I).

9. LIMITATION ON RETURNS / WITHDRAWAL / CANCELLATION RIGHTS

To the fullest extent permitted by law, certain products are not eligible for cancellation, withdrawal or return, including but not limited to: fragrances; sealed goods (e.g., DVDs or audio devices or goods liable to deteriorate/expire rapidly); collectibles; mystery boxes; swimwear; or other products not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if unsealed after delivery. Additionally, there is no right to cancel/withdraw/return a product made to your specifications or clearly personalized, unless there is a manufacturing error or defect. We reserve the right to refuse personalised orders at our discretion. In case of inappropriate use of this service, your order will be cancelled and fully refunded or sent without personalisation.

Only the buyer is entitled to return/cancellation/withdrawal rights (as applicable) and any refund. Gift recipients are not entitled to refunds. This clause does not limit or exclude consumer guarantees/warranties which cannot be excluded under applicable consumer rights legislation.

10. LIMITED WARRANTY AND FAULTY PRODUCT RETURNS

If you receive a damaged or faulty Product, you may have legal remedies depending on notification timing. Report issues to the Brand as soon as possible (preferably in writing) including your name, email, delivery address and order number/reference. This does not affect your legal rights.

Warranty validity may vary by destination. When valid, the warranty period is specified in the product description. Consumers may have additional statutory rights (e.g., under the EU directive 2019/771). These rights are not affected by this limited warranty. Defects caused by accidents, user misuse, or normal wear/tear are excluded.

11. LIABILITY

Certain liabilities cannot be excluded (e.g., personal injury, death, fraud). These Terms do not affect your legal rights under applicable consumer legislation.

Subject to the foregoing, Global‑e/the Brand shall have no liability for any losses or any consequential, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary or punitive damages, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, arising directly or indirectly from or in connection with these Terms. Any liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the relevant product and is limited to reasonably foreseeable losses. Liability is reduced/limited to the extent you cause or contribute.

We are not responsible for losses from unauthorized card use at checkout nor for notifying your card issuer or law enforcement. We are not liable for failure/delay due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., strikes, lockdowns, labor disputes, force majeure, civil commotion, fire, governmental acts/inaction, customs actions/inactions, government office closures/decisions, internet/infrastructure failures, war, terror, or industry‑wide supply chain disruptions).

You must allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy any matter before incurring costs to remedy it yourself. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error‑free Webstore/checkout operation; we may suspend services without notice for maintenance/improvements/technical reasons.

12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

Checkout materials are intended solely for your personal, non‑commercial use. Any other use (copying, reproducing, transmitting, publishing, displaying, distributing, commercial exploitation, or creating derivative works) is strictly prohibited. You also agree not to assist or facilitate third parties in doing so.

13. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Where a specific consumer law in your country explicitly prevails on a subject matter, that specific law governs that subject. If any provision is invalid/illegal/unenforceable under an explicitly prevailing law, it shall be enforced to the fullest permitted extent, and the remaining provisions shall remain effective.

To the fullest extent permitted, you irrevocably waive trial by jury. You may have a right to file a complaint with an ADR institute. To the fullest extent permitted, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, United Kingdom.

14. MISCELLANEOUS

Communications will be in English and made electronically. For Order questions/complaints, please contact the Brand (a link will be available on the Webstore or in transactional emails). For Global‑e questions, contact us here or at our applicable trading address.

Global‑e operates according to its Code of Conduct and Modern Slavery Policy (here).

Failure to enforce any right does not waive future enforcement. Headings are informational and non‑binding. We may assign these Terms (or part thereof) without consent; your rights/obligations remain unaffected. Non‑parties cannot enforce these Terms unless expressly stated otherwise.

Without prejudice to the applicable Privacy Policy, Global‑e and the Brand may access, read, preserve, disclose and use information related to Orders and checkout use as reasonably necessary for legal compliance, enforcement of Terms, addressing technical issues, responding to support requests, or protecting rights and safety. The Webstore/checkout may link to third‑party services/websites not controlled by Global‑e; we are not responsible for their content/practices. You are solely responsible for use of such services and release Global‑e from related liability. Please read each third‑party’s terms and privacy policy.

Global‑e may modify these Terms at any time, effective upon posting. Continued use indicates agreement, but changes do not affect existing Orders. These Terms constitute the entire agreement regarding Orders. If any provision is invalid/unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted, and replaced by a lawful provision closest to the parties’ original intent. The remaining provisions remain in full force.
